UPDATE ON EXTRA MEASUREMENTS FOR COVID-19
As we are planning for our reopening in May, there are a number of things we are taking extra precautions with and we hope you can understand and be patient with us about.
All guests must arrive wearing a mask. Once seated, it can be removed. Masks are to be kept on at all times except from when seated, so for example, masks must be worn when going to the bathroom or when leaving. We will be also wearing masks.
In accordance with the UK government guidance, guests attending casual Sunday reservations must keep mask on when not eating or drinking.
All guests entering the tea house must use our sanitiser or wash their hands with soap and warm water at the sinks.
All guests sitting at the same table/tea bar must be from the same household until further notice.
As a hospitality venue, we are legally required to display an official NHS Test and Trace QR code poster. Every guest - not just the lead guest - must check in on arrival. We will not be writing down contact details so all guests are required to have the NHS Test and Trace app to check in with.
Our tables are at least 2 meters apart from each other. Each table sits a maximum of 2 guests.
We have changed the way we explain and prepare tea to minimise time spent in close proximity, whilst not diminishing our guests’ experience.
In addition to washing/sanitising our hands frequently, we have also allowed extra time in between time slots to clean and get ready for our next guests.
If you have any symptoms or have been in contact with others who have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks, please be considerate of us and others and refrain from visiting.
Last but not least, if you are visiting us for the first time with a guest, please remind your guest about the concept and rules of the teahouse.
If there is anything we can do and/or prepare in advance to make your experience more comfortable, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We are very much looking forward to serving you again.
